Helical gears center differential with, one side-1st output to internally located limited slip front differential, and other side 2nd output to transfer box. Viscous coupling clutch controls torque spliting between front differential housing and transfer box, using homocentric shafts. Spiral bevel gears transfer box transfers torque to, hypoid spiral bevel gear, torsen rear differential. 28%-72% to 50%-50% front to rear torque distribution. (see info)

Type Steel monocoque Toyota ST165 chassis with front cross member for front suspension, and rear cross member subframe for differential and suspension support. 31kg steel 25CrMo4 (D40x2 and D40x1.5mm), or 31.5-34kg steel SCM430 (D40x1.5 and D40x1mm), or 23kg AlZnMg1 (D40x3) roll-cage. 3 door liftback/coupe steel bodyshell with steel front/rear bonnets, steel doors, urethane front/rear bumpers and plastic rear spoiler.
